Energy is what makes Europe tick.
Gateway to the European Union / Energy

The Advisory House supports energy suppliers in developing sustainable heat concepts.

Heating forms a substantial part of energy consumption and therefore also of CO2 emissions. Local and remote heating is often generated in heating stations using fossil fuels, or derived as a by-product from power generation and industrial processes. In view of global warming, it is important to make more use of the potential of eco-friendly heat generation. Increasing efficiency is central to doing so.

If local and remote heating is generated from renewable (especially solar or geothermal) energies, it is especially eco-friendly and reduces dependency on classical fossil energy sources. Many national development schemes provide appropriate incentives. And that opens new business opportunities to energy utilities.
